COMMUNION

Communion, also known as the Lord's Supper, is one of the most meaningful practices Christ has given to His church. On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus shared a meal with His disciples and commanded them, "Do this in remembrance of me" (Luke 22:19). Through Communion, we remember Christ's sacrificial death on our behalf, proclaim His gospel, and rejoice in the hope of His promised return.

The bread reminds us of Christ's body, given for us, and the cup reminds us of His blood, shed for the forgiveness of sins. As we partake together, we not only remember what Christ has done, but we also celebrate our unity as His people and renew our commitment to walk faithfully with Him.

Because Communion is given to those who belong to Christ, we invite all baptized believers who have placed their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior to participate. Baptism is the biblical first step of obedience for every Christian and serves as a public declaration of one's faith in Christ. Therefore, if you have trusted in Jesus but have not yet been baptized, we encourage you to speak with one of our pastors about taking this important step of obedience.

Before participating, Scripture calls us to examine our hearts, confess unrepentant sin, and come to the Lord's Table with humility, gratitude, and faith (1 Corinthians 11:27–29).

As we gather around the Table, we do so joyfully, remembering the grace of God displayed in Christ and proclaiming together: Christ has died, Christ is risen, and Christ will come again.
